This is a fraud operation. I want people to get together and we should sue them. They not only charged me more than twice what the initial quote was, they broke or damaged most of the furniture. Stole my carpet and wall hangings.
Costly moving mistake

First of all let me say that everything that glitters IS NOT gold! They reeled me in by giving me the cheapiest moving rate (or so I thought). When the movers got there they packed up most of my things and then turned around and told me that I would need 2 boxes which ended up costing me $200.00 after I had already given them $800.00. I moved from Maryland in late Jan and I just got my belongings back from them YESTERDAY! I had made it clear to this people that i wanted the driver to come on the weekend. He didn't show, then he called me 2 days later and said that he would be at my home that afternoon. NO SHOW! Then I called him to see what was going on, which he finally told me at 10pm that he would be there by 11pm! I refused! He then told me to pick a time, I chose 8am the next morning which he ended up coming at 12pm! Then my dishes were shattered and my brand new marble table was completely ruined along with several other items that are damaged and/or parts missing! Then when I didn't give the driver a tip he snatched the paper out of my hands, rolled his eyes, and stomped out of my home!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!
A rip off moving company

They did not stick to any part of their contract. They charged me an extra 400 hundred when they got to my apartment for what they said would be the cost of moving supplies. What the moving supplies turned out to be was basically "glad wrap" which they put around my things. When the movers arrived at my location, their was a box and a lamp that was missing. I too am going to take them to small claims court.

These movers will double your end fee. I paid for full service packing. I had already packed at least 80% of my propery. It even states that clearly on the household inventory sheet, of which THEY filled out. I had no large items, no bed sets, no dining rm sets, no living rm sets, etc...,almost everything was in a box. They were supposed to repack all breakables, they did not, They even packed garbage, and, it still took them a LONG time, at least 10-12 hrs, to load my stuff. I am in the process of suing them right now. Judge Mathis and a few others have contacted me back.
Authorized Movers in Miami Florida is the worst.

Booked my move online with a binding estimate of $3400. Which was paid for in full, before the first con-men showed up on August 20, 2007. To make a very long story short they pressured me into paying a total of $6,000.00 and it was a fight all the way. They underestimated to truck (which by the way did not say Authorized Movers on the side - subs), and broke my very large entertainment center. To make matters worse all of my mattresses, 2 computer tables with hutches, dinning room table, lawn furniture, dresser, and a few other items were left behind in the house I moved from in Florida. They said they would come back to get the rest but instead, when they delivered my things in NC they would not allow me to right on there paper work what was missing or that they broke my entertainment center. My neighbor saw me arguing with the driver who would not give me copies of the papers I signed and she called the police. I told the police I would talk to the owner of the company the following day on Friday August 24. When I spoke to the owner he stated we have signed document that you received all of your things. Therefore, I have now had to pay a different moving company to get the items that were left behind, and I am also out an entertainment center. Do not I repeat do not use Authorized ripoff Movers of S. Miami.

Don't don't don't.. Don't ever use this mover .. they give u a quote and at the end of the day the quote is doubled for whatever packing reasons... they don't deliver on time.. they have a luxury 0f 21 days from the due date.. they use sub contractors... they left my load near the gate because their 18 wheeler or 64 ft truck couldn't enter a residential community .. my luggage was packed like a garbage truck .. THIS WAS THE MOST WORST DECISION IN MY LIFE... I used to call them 10-20 times a day before getting connected.. they play the ball pass game ... Please Please don't use them .. they suck they suck

VERY LATE with pickup, DELIVERY over 2 weeks, BROKEN things in my face, stole items, gave me other customers items, unprofessional behavior. DID NOT SET UP items. They really suck. Filing claim immediately with BBB and insurance and my personal insurance co. YEP, that much damage

I used this company to move from Florida to Colorado, the people that showed up seemed very shady, and unprofessional. They take down my new phone number where i can be reached at, and tell me i can expect my things to be in Colorado in 5-7 days. So I call the company a week later, I was expecting a call from them, of course I had received no such call. They tell me the moving stuff is in Colorado and is ready for delivery, ok i was more then happy to get my things back. She took down my number again and says they will call me in the next couple days for a delivery. So as before I get no such call, I call them a week and a half later and now they have no record for my stuff, and no record that I called them! After multiple calls, and speaking with probably everyone of their representatives, they finally find out that i did set up a delivery date, but they cannot find my stuff. Now the company has me calling drivers asking about the location and the estimated date of when my things are going to arrive. This company is a complete and utter disgrace. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, the company's customer service is far less then acceptable, and they love to play the transfer game. Read all the claims on BBB about this company! Beware, DO NOT USE if you want your things delivered in a timely fashion, or delivered at all. Also they claim they have a 21 day policy, so they can deliver 21 days after the due date! WATCH OUT DO NOT USE!
