World's Worst Moving Company

Over two years ago we engaged Echo Trans World to move family heirlooms from Paris, France to California. The entire shipment (including an 18th century tapesty, sterling flatware service for 14, a portrait of my mother in law at age 5, silver trays, etc) "disappeared" from the warehouse in France. We have been lied to, bullied and threatened by the employees of Echo Trans World and as of this date they have not paid us one penny in compensation for the lost goods and they have refused to refund the monies paid to them for transporting the items to the United States. The one thing we all agree on is that the goods were never shipped, yet Echo Trans World refuses our repeated requests for a refund. I will be happy to supply copies of all correspondence to whomever is interested. I sincerely hope no one ever has to go through the abuse we have had to endure from this totally irresponsible, dishonest company.

Echo Trans World is terrible, definitely a scam. They moved my items from los angeles to shanghai. 50% of my items were damaged. they lost my dining room table (how do you do that?). The shipment took twice as long as they promised. Echo Trans World failed to ask me basic questions about my shipment that created serious customs issues, and my total fees where 30% higher than their quote. When i enquired about the claims process, i was told even before i received the instructions that my claim would be denied. And i had to threaten to deny acceptance before they would tell me the process. Echo Trans World is horrible, do not use them under any circumstances. I understand they have had an unusual number of complaints. Shame on me for not checking the review websites. Shame on them for continuing their deceitful practices.

I used Echo Trans World to move my things from New York to London, the estimate I got was very accurate I got my goods in a great shape after 4 weeks exactly as promised. I recommend anyone that wants to ship goods from New York to London to use Echo Trans World, I will recommend them to my friends and everyone else I know.
