Terrible moving company fasifies reviews on ratings websites!

FAKE COMPANY REVIEWS I believe that because Ori is only a year into business, they are filling out FAKE company reviews all over the internet, including this site. There is no way that everyday they have a post of 5 stars. Notice that all the reviews are posted within 2 weeks of each other and that everyone found all the reviews helpful. Highly suspect. BROKEN STUFF They broke through 4 high quality Rubbermaid moving boxes, also breaking the inside contents, they broke some of my furniture, they broke my $200 carpet cleaner. And in response, they have an insurance company that will give us a flat rate for a box or a vacuum etc. about $5 a box and the same for the vacuum, so basically you lose big time. STOLEN STUFF Shortly after the moving men left I noticed that an important red suitcase was not left with us. I called the moving man and he said in fact he did have the suitcase. He said he would find out if his supervisor would let him mail it to me or if he would send it after he finished all his drop offs. About a month later and 50 phone calls to the company trying to figure out where the mover was Ori told us there was no suitcase. They failed to track the guy, who is now MIA because he only works for them during the summer, they refused to tell me if he was still moving or if he had arrived and brought them the suitcase. It was 100 times easier for them to ignore me and my questions and hope that I dropped it, went through the insurance company and took the $27 instead of my suitcase which was worth about $100 and the contents worth several hundred more. If you value your possessions, do not hire Ori Van Lines!
An antique china cabinet was my biggest worry

Excellent Movers In a word - excellent. I used Ori Van Lines because I had used them before and been very satisfied with the service. This time, I was even more impressed with their care for my belongings. We had to move nothing but few antiques furniture that has been in my family for a number of years. Many of the pieces were over 100 years old. Some of them were very heavy and bulky. I was very nervous about this move because of the fact that we were in business with antiques. An antique china cabinet was my biggest worry because of the bowed glass on the piece. If anything happened to that glass, it would be nearly impossible to replace. All of the pieces would be costly to try to replace or repair if they were damaged in any way -- and all of them held enormous sentimental value to me - so if they were harmed the emotional loss would also be great. When Sean and his crew arrived, I expressed my concerns to them, and they assured me they would be very careful and everything would be ok. They assessed the situation - we weren't moving everything from the house, and part of what we were moving was going to my condo while other items were going to storage. They got to work and began to carefully pack and wrap the antiques and move them carefully to the truck. Each member of the crew treated my precious antiques as if they were their own belongings.

Your moving company moved our household furniture from Sacramento CA to Reno NV back in July. We were so impressed by your workmen that we wanted to write and tell you how pleased we were. The gentlemen were courteous, careful, and quick! Shortly after we moved in, however, our son was born and the letter went unwritten. Going through papers yesterday, I found the receipt and decided it was "better late than never" to thank you for your great service. You have our highest recommendation! MR. & MRS. Pittman.

Like so many people I have moved several times and always dreaded truck rentals and the endless hours devoted to packing and lugging my own things from place to place. I actually delayed a great opportunity to move to Brooklynbecause it was cold outside, the streets were narrow in the city and I was extremely busy at work. That’s where Ori Van Lines Moving Company and my representative came to the rescue. Ori Van Lines was very flexible with updates to my inventory and they confirmed every step of the process with me. I was fully informed of the details, cost and timing of my move within minutes after my first phone call. The Movers were very pleasant and respectful of my items as they carefully handled my furniture, stereo and computer. I’ve told my friends, family and coworkers about Ori Van Lines Moving Company because I was surprisingly amazed that the entire move took one hour – from the moment they arrived at my old apartment to when they unpacked everything at the new place! My life didn’t miss a beat and because I was already unpacked and ready to go at the new place before mid-afternoon. Many people give their recommendations and it can be difficult to trust a complete stranger with your most precious belongings. I would tell anyone who is considering a moving company to call around for quotes. They will quickly understand why the professionalism, honesty and customer service from Ori Van Lines Moving Company can’t be found anywhere else!
