the worst ever, increase of almost $500.00 over the "ESTIMATE"!!!! And they charge $67.00 for tape?? BE VERY WARY OF THEIR CHEAP ESTIMATE THE GUYS WERE NICE ENOUGH..NOT THEIR FAULT THEY WORK FOR CROOKS

My daughter used this mover to move from Boston to California. They took her stuff on May 26, 2011. She notified them that the first available delivery date will be June 22. The contractor guaranteed 21 business days from the first available delivery date. However, they did not delivery her suff until July 24. They did not give her 48 hours notice as promised. Instead they call her one hour before delivery. Even though it was Sunday, she has to leave work to rush home. They also delivered part of her furnitures to another address by mistake. Mover just left, she has to go get the rest of her stuff herself. She also had to pay the full amount even though the delivery was incomplete and not within the guaranteered time because it was Sunday and she can not get hold of anyone from Boston Flat Rate Mover to complain. When she called next week, they never returned her calls. Use this mover at your own risk.

I do not normally take the time to write reviews for services I find on the Net, but this one inspired me. At the last minute, my friends and decided to jump on a great deal to move into a three-story townhouse in the city. I looked on the internet and found Boston Flat Rate Movers. Since we were on a tight budget, we went with a less expensive service, expecting the quality to be reflected by the price. Boy was I wrong! They were outstanding: careful, quick, on time, and professional. I even got a student discount! There were so many tight turns moving my piano and couches into the small apartment, but they handled it all without any problems. Definitely saved myself some serious sweat for just a few bucks...and at the last minute no less (seriously, I called them three days before!). My brother's using their services next month to move out he was so impressed.
