WORST!
Mover reviewed by George on 04/06/12
Unprofessional, lazy, and expensive is about all I can say. I will never use these folks again. They took over 8 hours to move me out of a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. 3 guys showed and only 2 did any work. The other man cursed and used his phone they whole time. He never even lifted a box! Seriously, not even one box. I called to complain and that I wouldnt pay for 3 men. They supervisor is just as crazy. He didnt care at all. They also broke some items. Complete nightmare.
My Worst Moving Experience--Beware

Mover reviewed by Louis on 07/10/09
What a ripoff! My problems included: tardiness, changing prices, lack of experience packing, and terrible customer service, and lazy movers. (1) Tardiness. They never showed up on time. They were late as much as three hours. They changed the scheduled arrival time and then did not tell me. I had to call them to find out where they were. (2) Every issue was a changing price. My quote was different depending on who I spoke to. Once they had moved my stuff into storage, then they decided to add a $315 re-delivery fee that I had never heard of before. (3) They were hired to do all packing. First day they showed up without boxes and complained I had too much stuff. They ran out of time and had to come back ($$$). Next time, showed up late to start packing and, get this, they RAN OUT OF BOXES even though I had already packed 17 boxes. (4) Customer service. They have three phone numbers. The DC and VA phones never pick up (they have "high call volumes". The DC refers you to VA. The only one who answers is the MD number. My "rep" called me to complain that I had to much stuff and that I had misled them. I told her I had offered to let them come beforehand and assess the situation and give me a quote. She said they didn't do that on 1 bedroom moves. She just said I had too much stuff and needed to charge more. In short, stay away. (5) Lazy Movers. On all occassions, at least one of my movers did nothing. Two worked. The third was on the phone and the driver slept in the truck. In short, there is a reason they avoid having written contracts and cash your checks the same day (yes, they take the time to personally go to the bank the same day to cash your check). I have moved 8 times in my life and this was by far the worst experience.
Impressed with great service

Mover reviewed by Barb on 02/13/09
I have used other moving companies in the past and recently used T's Moving and was truly impressed with the service I received. They were prompt, courteous and worked very hard to ensure all my belongings were handled with care; i.e. all my furniture was wrapped and padded before it was moved and it was placed in it's proper room at my new location. There were no hidden fees or damages and would recommend them to everyone.
Stay away

Our experience with these movers was nothing less than horrible. They took 8 ½ to move a 1 bedroom apartment (we had moved most small and medium boxes beforehand) from Alexandria to Springfield. Granted, they stopped in Centreville- so we could subtract 90 minutes for that, but their slowness was unbearable. We had hired 2 movers, they brought three and asked us if that was ok- but charged us for that rate, although 1 woman was on her cell phone the entire time and did not physically move more than a few boxes. They broke a rowing machine (which they called a scratch although they broke off the entire mechanical structure), and tiles for our coffee table, not to mention scratching almost every wall we have. Its three weeks later and they have not come and “checked and paid for damages,” as both their website and receipt and manger promised to do within a week. They have not returned a single phone call. We have left messages for the OWNER, and he has not returned calls. What is probably the worst is that we had an 800 lb. TV, which they refused to move in through the back, because it had rained. We realize and agreed this would be dangerous, but they just left it in the living room, promising to return and move it for free, as they spent over an hour (which we were charged for) standing around trying to figure out what to do with the TV. When we called to schedule them to move the TV to the basement, they said they would have to charge us 4 people for, and that it would cost us $$$. I told them what was stated when they left, and the man on duty called the manager of our move who said “I never said any such thing” although she had. The man I spoke to on the phone became condescending when I got upset and said- and, I quote “that TV is heavy and we can’t move it.” So- if you have heavy stuff, apparently this moving company cannot move it.
