HOME OF THE BRAVE MOVERS IN DALLAS/FORT WORTH LIES, CHEATS AND STEALS*** Home of the Brave Movers in the Dallas Fort Worth area is a dishonest, deceitful company. I paid $95/hour for 2 men to remove my belongings from storage and load onto a truck. After an hour, one of the men hurt his foot and quit working. Despite being a petite, 52 year old woman, with physical limitations, I ended up loading things myself just to get it done before midnight. When "they" finally finished, they claimed that they began loading 40 minutes before they even arrived. I was alone, and had to drive the 26 foot truck from TX to OK pulling my vehicle on an auto transport. It took them so long, I didn't get to leave TX until after dark, had to drive through an ice storm, and chose not to argue over the bill at the time. When I notified the company about the shoddy service, I was promised a $95 refund. That was weeks ago. I've been assured repeatedly that the check is in the mail---NOT!! In addition, the so-called movers detached my bed casters and removed the legs from furniture, then tossed or discarded them. I've spent over $100 replacing & repairing things they lost and/or broke. It looks like I will have to sue them for the $95. More grief than it's worth, but people and businesses like theirs need to be punished for their shady ways and deceptive practices

I hired this company to remove my belongings from storage and load onto a truck. They charged $95/hour for 2 movers. After less than one hour, one of the men hurt his foot. For the remaining 2 hours, he did nothing. I ended up loading things myself despite physical limitations. They also attempted to inflate their hours, claiming they began 40 minutes before they arrived. The company agreed to refund $95 of the fee I paid. They did not honor our agreement for the refund, a legally binding oral contract. They breached our agreement when they did not provide 2 men to perform the work. They also lost or tossed my bed casters and "legs" off of pieces of furniture that I had to replace myself at substantial expense.
