Fast, careful and very polite service. The crew did a great job moving our household belonging including some nice furniture out of a storage unit and into our new house in Denver. I would recommend this crew/company to anyone even without the discounts they provide. I received four! I admire the entrepreneurial spirit of these people. Their attitude of gratitude is displayed in the the many discounts they offer customers. They are a great asset to the community I wish them well.
WORST MOVE EVER

Please stay away from this company. First of all they ripped us off on our estimate after many detailed converstaions about what we had. We were charged $1,200 more than that estimated us. Then when we tried to talk to them about it they had an attitude and never called us back. We were mislead by the salesguy that not surprisingly left the company or was fired by the time we were trying to speak to someone about our issues. THEN they took forever loading the truck. The movers were on their cell phones texting the whole time and were standing around. It was hot so we went and got them drinks and our thanks was leaving all their trash in our yard when they took off. After going round and round with the company about when to deliver they decided to show up 4 days early and basically said show up or we'll have to wait even longer for our stuff. We got married THE DAY BEFORE and had to leave the state with family still in town becuase they decided to show up early. I cannot say enough terrible things about this company but they don't deserve anyone's business. Terrible and pathetic company.

Across USA Moving was the best experience with a moving company I have ever had. They were on time, really friendly and the job got done quickly, and with care. I would recommend Across USA Moving to anyone looking to move to a new home- very happy with the customer service and professionalism.

These people are not professional! I don't care how many awards they have they are sleezy very unprofessional and a major rip! 1) My price doubled after they loaded up their truck with my household. 2) They were asked to pack lamps and pictures. I was told they were professional packers and not to worry about it...big mistake! 3) They loaded my household on another truck....whew you could not imagine that mess when the driver came to unload. My things were packed on top over another movers stuff. Broken light bulbs and what not on top of my stuff! Stay away from these people they do not care about your things whatsoever. When your not watching their every step they will just throw things around. I would have been better of getting 12 year olds do the job in a hurry. And as for insurance....get ready to fill out forms! I am pissed to say the least.

Across USA Movers were great. They were on-time, efficient/fast, and very careful. They were also very very nice guys - cheeful and friendly. You're in good hands with this crew and they will very quickly put you at ease that they know what they're doing. I've moved many times and this was, hands down, my best experience with a mover to date. I think their price is competitive too . Thanks for taking the worry out of moving!

I was extremely satisfied with my move using Across U.S.A. The crew was on time, worked quickly and was extremely helpful. My relocation consultant was on top of things and made sure that everything was in order. She was also very patient with whatever changes there may have been. I will definitely think about using Across U.S.A. Moving again in the future if the need arises...
will recommend them to friends/family in the future.

We used Across USA moving company for our move out at the end of November. We had a number of different moving companies come by for in-home assessments but stopped looking after meeting Anthony. We continued to be impressed with the entire team on move day. We has quite large sized furniture, and maneuvering the larger pieces out of our 2nd floor apartment with no elevator was no small feat. We did have some hiccups along the way but this team worked through it and never stopped smiling. The move went smoothly in the end, everything was delivered safely, and the team ensure that all boxes were placed in the right rooms in our new home. This is a company that really treats you like family and goes above and beyond to ensure a job is done well. If we ever move again we most certainly would not trust anyone but Across USA to the job, and will recommend them to friends/family in the future.

Very very bad experience with this company, not professional, even don't how to answer customers's question. they give you a lower price to attract you, then jump to a highest price. you don't have a way to track your stuff, have to call them time and time, and get no answers. don't use this company, it drives you crazy.....

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Late, unprofessional, not-contactable, and did not take care of my stuff. They were 3 days, DAYS!, late on the pickup and didn't even bother to call. Like all movers, they hold your stuff ransom until you pay them, so have no incentive for proper customer service. Someone needs to blowup this industry and start over. If one person reads this and does not use Across USA Moving for their move, this post will be worth it. Stay as far away from these clowns as possible.
Unprofessional and no respect for others

I chose to move with across USA after I was scammed by another company, their staff promised me they would be timely and take care of me. They charged me extra for an expedited pick up, and then arrived 7 hours late. It has been 2.5 weeks and I am still waiting. The driver called me at 7 am this morning to say he would be here by 2pm, 7 hours later he is still not here. He actually screamed at me on the phone, saying he was doing me a favor. I don't know how moving companies exist, my only experiences have been horrible. They have no respect for others, and I can only imagine how bad of shape my stuff is going to be in. I feel sorry for their secretary, she is the only decent person that works there.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! DO not even consider going to their website. They will hold your items for ransom and then demolish every single one of them before they deliver them to you in shambles. Our delivery date has been delayed 8...yes EIGHT times now. And because of this, we have been virtually homeless for 2 weeks. Not only did our 'Moving Consultant' Donna Fraire express to me that our belongings would arrive on time and be taken care of, she also GUARANTEED that their company was THE company to handle our move most efficiently. Quite the saleswoman I guess. However, as soon as our things were picked up (late and very half-hazardly I might add), she never once returned any of my calls. She wouldn't answer questions, wouldn't discuss why our things were late, and couldn't be bothered to assure us of anything. At one point, I literally sent her an email asking if they EVER intended to deliver our belongings or if this was some kind of scam you see on 20/20...no response. We haven't even gotten to price yet! Wow! Our moving costs more than doubled! Do not let this happen to you. Moving is stressful enough as it is, do NOT add to it by hiring a company that will hold your possessions ransom, throw them around destructively, charge you double what they promised, and never call you back to let you know that you are in fact getting screwed. ***UPDATE: we JUST received our possessions this afternoon after I posted this and our belongings are completely DEMOLISHED. I’ve counted 24 glasses cracked, 2 lamps shattered into pieces, a mattress and sofa ripped, and 3 vases broken.

Words cannot express how disappointed I am in Across USA. First let me say that all of my stuff was in storage already professionally packed so this should have been a very easy move for them to execute. The quote given to me was for $3700.00 and when they came to pick everything up, they said that it was more than originally thought. I am 15,000 miles from the storage location in Dallas so I have no way to dispute this. The final bill was for $7400.00 or twice what the estimate was. They told me that everything was already loaded on the truck when they gave me the new bill and I was stuck. In fact they had not even loaded the truck yet and that did not occur until 6 days later. I booked Across USA 30 days before I needed my household goods to arrive and they could not even get it delivered on the requested date. So to summarize their performance, they charged me twice the estimate, defrauded me and did not deliver on the requested date. Do Not EVER use this company!!!
Worth the price

Moving is usually a huge headache for me, as I do this fairly often for my job. I am compensated in my yearly bonus package so that leaves me regularly footing the bill up front.. gehh! I recently used Across USA to move my home from Houston TX to Tacoma, WA for work. The price from the estimate was a little higher but I did have more things I wanted to take that I had left out originally, and few things needed to be packed up to secure them, so that was understandable and it was all explained to me as it was performed. I was impressed by the knowledge and skill of these young gentleman. They hustled also, no breaks, no lunches, they were moving... The delivery was to take 5-14 days from when I was ready but when I talked to Kenny in the operations department he informed it was being loaded 2 days after pick up and it arrived in a week! What a prince that guy is! Great service over there!

Across USA helped my family move with a level of customer service and professionality that I have never seen before. Due to my line of work, we have had to move multiple times, from Georgia to Kansas to Nevada to Texas. I've tried enough moving services that our recent move to Arizona was not an experience I was looking forward to. However, Across USA really came through. The booking was easy, the price was fair and the politeness, even friendliness of driver and the workers was truly astonishing. They moved us effectively and safely. Our furniture was delivered as received. Although I'd prefer staying in Arizona for a while, the next time I move, Across USA has me sold. Thank you
Worst Moving Experience of My Life

They doubled the cost of the move. After loading all of my items on to the truck, I was given a bill for twice my original quote. I asked why they did not address this cost increase BEFORE moving any of my belongings, and I received a mumbling rambling response and told to take it up with management. Across knew they had me in a corner as my items were already on the truck and I had to leave the next day. I was also forced to do much of the moving myself. I moved from a very busy city where street parking is very hard to come by. The truck from Across showed up (several hours late) and parked on the street outside of my apartment. I was informed by the driver that if the cops came, he'd have to leave early and leave behind whatever they could not get on the truck. However, instead of relaying this message to his hired help so that perhaps they would hustle, he suggested to me that I carry boxes well. I carried boxes and loaded the truck while his workers stood around. Granted they did move the much heavier items, but that's about all they did. On top of that, they left my items on the street and on the sidewalk where any passerby could take or damage them. Thankfully, my neighbors appear to be more honest than Across. In the end, I paid $6,500 (over twice my original quote) to move myself. I could have done the same thing with a U-Haul, hiring local help at both ends, for about $800. Complaints to management and their legal department went nowhere and I was threatened with having my items "moved into an alley where they will be free for the taking" if I didn't pay the remaining balance demanded by Across U.S.A.

The company, Across USA, packed and picked up my stuff on July 31, 2008. Two weeks later, I called on August 12 2008, the 1st day available for delivery, to find out that my stuff is still at Houston. I called today August 14, 2008 and the company still holds my stuff at Houston. The customer service cannot even tell me when my stuff can be delivered. I finally did a search for moving company reviews on the Internet. I am NOT the only customer who is frustrated by Across USA. Many customers complained about the service of the company. I should do the search before I chose Across USA. For example, one customer at moving.respond.com complained that he (or she) had to wait for 30 days to get his (or her) stuff delivered. Another customer complained that the company over-charged him in the final cost. I even cannot find a single positive comment about this moving company. I will wait to see how my job can be done by Across USA and I will write more comments about my experience. So far, it is frustrated and I am in a panic mode.
Painful experience with Accros USA

The Sales folks were nice. They give you a low quote and then jackup the price once they load the stuff. I had arranged for a pickup date 4 weeks in advance and based on that I had booked my flight tickets. Till the day before the move when ever I called they said that the driver is confirmed and he will come to pickup the stuff in time. They never showed up and I had to rebook the tickets at the last minute that cost me $800. The driver and his helper who came to load our stuff constantly fought and then the helper left in the middle of the move. I had to help the driver with heavy stuff. The boxes arrived two days later than commited. The driver came all by himself to unload the boxes and then he would run arround to find construction workers to help him move the heavy stuff. Extremely rude and unprofessional. He also ran his truck into my mailbox and completely damaged the mail box. On top of that they did not deliver 3 boxes that were carrier packed. It contained my expensive music equipments. They know exactaly what was in the box. I think it was not delivered on purpose. They don't have a formal way of tracing the boxes. In a nut shell stay away from Accross USA.
My move from TX to NY

My sales person was so professional and helpful right from the start. My move date changed several times but she worked with me through all the changes. They had to have an inventory of my items and even though I didn't know how many boxes I would end up packing, my sales rep, Sheila, told me I could give her that information later and she estimated a box count for me in my estimate. I was even able to give her an actual box count the day BEFORE my move and she readjusted my price!! When the movers arrived, ON TIME, Joey the foreman introduced himself and explained everything to me. He was very professional and the movers worked quickly and efficently. I was told it would take up to 14 days to receive my items, but 2 days after my items were picked up, I called and they told me my items were being shipped in 2 days and within 7 days total I had my items.I would use Across USA again and have recommended them to others! KUDOS to the staff at Across USA!

Got great service on the front end. Very responsive good price quote. Then the final estimate came in at $800 more! We did add 3 additional items; one small box a painting and a tool box. The movers picked up a bicycle that was not on our list nor did anyone request it be added but because the movers came with a bicycle box they insisted they pack and take it. Jerry the Customer Service Supervisor who I dealt with was very unprofessional. Kept calling my mother-in-law "the old lady". DO NOT USE THEM
