I hired this moving company to move my things from L.I.N.Y. to St.Luice FL. the person I spoke with was Nick R. Nick gave me DOT # They came and loaded up the truck and then gave me a price $300. more then I was told.I called Nick and he told the driver to just take the deposit and they left. My agreement with Nick was that my things would stay in storage in N.Y. until I gave him a date to move them to FL..Nick said to give them 5 days to get the things down here. I was in FL. a week when I got a call from a guy from a Target Moving in South FL. who told me my things were in storage in FL. and it would cost me $300. a month to keep them there.I got a move in date and called this guy and was told they would deliver my things on Sat.and they would call the night before.Well Friday came and no call I tried calling them but no one picked up .Sat.Sun.Mon.Tue.Wed.Thur.and on Friday I got someone on the phone only to be told the truck broke down and they would be there on Sat. at 9a.m. they showed up at about 3 p.m. .Then they wanted $300. more then I had on my bill.I had to call the police and after about 2hrs. I agreed to give them what I owed and $150.more to get my things back.I cried when they started to unload, my boxes were wet and smashed my sons bed was broken up,things that belonged to my grandmother were in little pieces, pictures of my kids and grandkids were wet and could not be saved, all my sheets and bed linens were wet and moldy.I lost things that can never be replaced and things that can not be fixed.WE lost over $5000. in our possessions.
