BIG TIME RIP-OFF

THIS IS THE WORST I'VE BEEN ROBBED IN A LONG TIME THEY GURANTEED ME NO HIDDEN FEES I ASKED ABOUT 4 TIMES CAUSE OTHER PLACES HAD WARNED ME THAT THIS IS THE WAY THEY GET YOU, WELL THEY GOT ME, THE BILL WAS TO BE $210.00 TURNED INTO $860.00 I WENT BEZERK I WAS READY TO WHIP SOME ASS AND I HAD MY BOYS THERE SO I SAID CALL THE LAW THEY CAME AND TALKED THEM DOWN TO $680.00 BUT I WAS STILL PISSED CAUSE THEY LIED SO BAD. THEY GET YOU TO SIGN ALL THIS CRAP AND THE COPS SAY YOURE STUCK. I KNOW CARMA WILL GET THEY'RE ASS!!!! IF IT HAS'NT ALREADY ONE OF THEM HAD A BLACK EYE.
Please do not use AAA movers to your moving.

AAA movers are big scammers. It was very bad experince with this AAA movers company. Quote was less than 400 dollars but actual moving cost came to 1500 (single bed room) dollars. They were used about 15 rolls (which includes unnecesary wrap) and they charged me for 33 rolls (He knew that he is not correct on that and he also confirmed with other two mens usedonly 15 rolls). Apart from that foreman was drunk and he damaged most my stuff while loading. Also they are dishonest and to top of it very care less. He told me that will calculate once unload is done. But he did not do any adjustment. Foreman wasted a lot of time for argue, foremen was shouted on me and drunk tooo. All three were wasted lot of time for smoking. Perticularly foreman was zero worth. Other two were good ofcource one of them was playing games using his cell phone and sending/receving text messages. They demanded $150 tip, and would not unload my stuff until! or they want go with all mystuff and put it in the storage and charge you for that everyday. Unprofessional behavior. He gave me a threat to tow away stuff and charge you for storage!!! They charged me 1.5 hours for return travel which was not mentioned before. Also they are taking sign on non decline dispute form. They are very smart and they know they are not honest, and that is the reason they are taking sign from that you can not dispute your charges.

I was given a quote for $210.00.This quote was given to me knowing that I had three flights of steps in my new building. I was charged $600 extra for the three flights of steps! The movers also said they would not move my furniture without wrapping it up, but forgot to tell me the cost extra for wrapping was $268.00. They waited until they had all my belongings on there truck, then to hand me a bill for $1378.16. Those movers chip almost every corner of my bedroom furniture! They scrapped long gashes into my wood floor! Then had the nerve to ask for a tip, after they just basically robbed me! Rent a truck & get some friends together, because you can't trust these robbers!

They showed up 2 hours late with no apology or explanation; they had no tools to take apart any of the furniture items; the final bill was $524 more than original estimate including an unexplained $150 stair charge; When I disputed the bill one mover threatened to leave my belongings outside; The lead mover attempted to pocket $300 in cash and charge my credit card for the full amount; This was one of the worst experiences with movers I have ever had. Please do your research before hiring anyone. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Wow! I can't believe I didn't read these reviews before hiring these jerks! I was charged more than eight times the amount I had anticipated the move would cost--based on the estimate/contract emailed to me. I spoke with both Barbara and Eric who confirmed that my move would cost approximately $210 (3 hours minimum, 3 guys, $70 per hour) plus necessary packing materials. Well, 5 hours later and $1894 out (I'm not exaggerating) I am signing papers and handing over my credit card to get my things out of the truck. I was charged $900 for stairs (6 flights), which I was NOT made aware of either on the phone, in my emailed contract or by the 'lead' mover when he arrived to my apartment. As far as packing supplies are concerned, it's my own fault for not asking for prices ahead of time as I was aware that supplies were extra. I plan on suing this company and contacting the better business bureau...if anyone thinks we can get a class action or something going...contact me at erikalum@hotmail.com

It happened to us on 10/04/08, when we were quoted a price of $425 for a move only 3 miles away. Once arriving at our destination, we were informed that the total for the move was going to be $3298.81 and if we did not pay, they would take our items to their warehouse. Since we had no choice, we had to pay them the amount. AAA Movers did not finish the move within 10 hours, they did not re-assemble the furniture as stated in the contract, they damaged several items. The list of complaints is on-going.

i recently did a move with this company....not only did they lie from the beginning but hit me with an outrageous amount at the end of the move, which if i did not pay my furniture will not be deliver....incredibly i called the office to ask them why was the bill so high, not only was the person rude but kept changing the story every minute. I would not recommend this movers to anyone ever....rip me off and treated me like they moved me for free.... if you dont want to be ripped off,,,,do not use this company!!!!

Beware of this dogs! These guys make your move so horrible and worst that you literally would end up in tears....i personally plead everybody to not to get carried away by their low hourly rates as even for a local 10-15 mile move for a small 1 br apt, you would end up paying them $2000-$3000 dollars. They cheat you by making you sign some forms having prices of packing material which are far from reality. Like a packing crate would cost around $250 and they would use tons o unnecessary packing material to rip u off! Finally i request any of you guys to let me know if we could do some thing to stop these scammers as i definitely not want anybody to suffer the way i did on my moving day! I wish god should punish such cheaters who cash the innocence of people....

The absolute worst moving experience of my Life, easily. How does this company stay in business!!!! Two very, very weak movers arrived hours and I mean hours late, took nine hours to move a small studio apartment into my condominium which was less than a 2 miles away!!!! When the moved was booked they claimed there would be no charge for travel time, however once the truck was loaded and driven to it’s destination the movers would not unload until paid in full by estimating how long it would take to unload PLUS TRAVEL TIME back to their shop. Once the estimated time was up they left they majority of the boxes on my lawn and drove away. I moved more of load into my condominium then the ACTUAL movers. In addition, on top of the per hour cost, and the hidden travel time cost, there was an additional HIDDEN FEE of $125.00 per flight of stairs!!! Stay clear of this horrible moving company.

AAA Movers from Paterson, NJ is the most deceitful moving company ever! They do whatever it takes to get your business and you will end up paying 3x more than the original quote. I was persistent on letting them know that we lived on the 3rd floor and was told by Lana, over the phone that it would not be a problem and I would not be charged extra. In the end, I was charged an additional $300 and when I called Lana to complain she said our phone recordings did not indicate I ever asked that question. I went with AAA solely for the reason that there was no extra charges for stairs. No where on their website does it state the charges for stairs. No where in the contract was I told of this charge. AAA Movers = AAA Scammers!

I am very distressed I recently had a move that went so bad I do not know what to do. They took 19 hours to move a two bedroom 5 miles, the movers broke most of my furniture they broke the hinges off the garage of my knew place they never resembled most of the things they took apart. they wrapped furniture around and around with tape I cannot get off.. The movers left valuable furniture and belongings in the rain. After an estimate of 680 they charged me 3300 then they dumped all my stuff out of the boxes in different piles all over my basement. The movers packed my garage like a moving truck I cannot get one thing out there is tape all over my new and old residence.

After Eugene came over to see my apartment he gave me a quote of 680.00 dollars. They never dropped any boxes off before the move as promised they took 29 hours to move my 2 bedroom apartment 5 miles they taped all my furniture and broke almost every thing I own, they took on item off the truck at 3 in the morning then told me I had to give them 3300 or they will not do anything else, we paid, they never finished the job they broke everything they packed my garage like a sardine can. I complained to the movers that night they told me I got scammed and that they hate this moving company I called the company to complain the person over the phone told me I got scammed and that he hates this moving company. I finally got Eugene he told me he would send 2 guys down to help me fix what the other guys did but it will cost me 60 dollars an hour. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE MOVERS THEY ARE HORRID I FEEL LIKE I AM RECOVERING FROM A MAJOR DISASTER

When I talked to the company over the phone I spoke with Lana she was very helpful with everything I needed set me a quot at $70.00 dollars per hr 3 man crew this was for everything everything in the apt. 4 hours $280.00 packing and unloading. Well the day came to move and well they were LATE LATE LATE 2 hours late then Justin the foreman young fast talker whipped out all these papers I was appalled on the rate was totally different compared to what was discussed over the phone with Lana I went with the flow cause I had to be out that day to move into my new place they took 3 hour just to get my stuff loaded on the truck I had packed everything a week in advance they finally get everything out there suppose to meet us at the new place 45 minutes late they pull up Justin said to me we have to hurry cause were gonna go over the time frame so I said to the foreman its your fault you were late starting and slow getting it out late getting to the new place and he hands me the bill $868.00 I was ready to beat them all in to the ground but I knew it would I could not do that so Justin contacts his boss Eugene who tells me if i cant pay they would not unload I had no choice at this time so we paid the forman now they get everything off the so there telling me I check the truck I see nothing on top off that there gonna charge me for there ride back now this is included in the $868.00 now keep in mind I checked the truck seen nothing that night checking all my stuff Im missing 3ft. main surround sound speaker shelves from my book case and they cut the cord on my 52in wide screen tv. now they paid me for the tv and shelves but have still have not been paid for one item my surround sound speaker this has been sense Aug 15 2007 The manager Eugene was a complete IDIOT! TO ME I will never use them if my life depended on it and they still owe me for my speaker. GOOD PEOPLE OF NJ OR WERE EVERY YOU ARE DONT US THIS COMPANY iTS NOT WORTH THE DRAMA

i hired this company in November they gave me a quote of of 210 dollars when they got to my house they began to pack everything in blankets, telling me that i have to do this then they charged me for the stairs and then they forced me into giving them a tip of 120 dollars. i had no other alternative so i paid because they would not take my stuff of the truck. i tried to give them a check and then stop payment but they said they do not accept checks I already reported them to Better Business Bureau.

They were late, lied used soooo much unnecessary packing material. I guess that's how they make their money and they were so slow as hell. They charged me more than 3x the quote. Didn't even show up the first day. charged for stairs which isn't stated anywhere. SCAM SCAM SCAM DISHONEST

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – I was lied to so many times – they were four hours later, claiming a flat tire. I find out later, from their boss that I was lied to about the flat tire, and that they were running late from another job. Actual price was more than DOUBLE the estimate, claiming “packing supplies”. When I booked the move and dealt with Lana, I said I would not require any, and that I would pack myself. She should have given me a list of packing supplies and requirements, it was deceitful and dishonest. Instead I had to unpack things and repack them, all at 9p.m. since they were four hours late!!! Then, the have the nerve to “require” a $250.00 tip!!! I did not provide this tip, telling them that they were 4 hours late, deceitful and dishonest. Since I needed to be out of my old apartment, I had to do what they said and pay what they wanted, or they would not release by items. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend them to ANYONE!!!!!

On May 9th., 2007 I meet with a Estimator for AAA Mover Inc.. At this time 90% of the home was packed, since Additionally, approximately 80% of the content of the home was on the first floor or stored in the basement. I was given a quote for $490. which was to include the travel time, 3 men at $70.00 Per hour. The day of the move they did not show up till 11:30 and since I had to be moved out that day I started the move without them. I unloaded into the driveway almost all the boxes from the home. . We get to my Shrewsbury location and I and handed a bill they wanted paid for $ $1,291.49 before the items were taken off the truck and the amount was more than doubled than what was quoted!I had to pay up or they where taking my stuff and putting it into storage and auctioning it if I would not pay it. At first I thought of giving them a check and then would cancle payment but they would not accept a check only cash, certified check or money order or credit card. But if I used a credit card I had to also sign a waiver that I would not “charge back” the amount. So being under duress again I then decided to call the police and make a report of the situation and have it logged that I was paying and signing the papers but unwillingly. Some of the cost adding to the inflation was $300 dollars was added on for packing materials that were not needed or even used on my job.
