Worst movers ever!

This company is a perfect example of a moving company you should stay away from. My boyfriend and I moved from Mount rainier MD to Tucson AZ back in may 2008. The estimated us a wonderful price of a $1000.03 for our move. The driver didn't show up on time and we were forced to leave our belongings behind hoping they would pick it up. We had our stuff in storage with them for 4 months they told us it would be $100 a month for storage and first month was free but what they didn't tell us was we were suppose to pay them each month or their would be late fee's. so our nice $1000.03 estimate was bumped up to $1500.00 they charged us $200 for late fees alone. It took them 3 weeks to deliver my stuff and when it did get here more then half of my belongings were missing. Of course it had to be my most expensive items. They are not compliant to any of my demands for my missing items returned or a full refund. Bait and Switch Movers

Destination movers is a prime example of a Bait and Switch con artists. I am in the military and was stationed in Tampa. I decided to relocate to New Jersey. I called this moving company and was lulled into their sweet talk and claims of taking care of the military. I was quoted a DETAILED price of $1,200.00 with everything included. on the day of the move i was faced with a rude supervisor that started tagging on extras for a total of $4000.00. I had no choice since i was due at my new assignment in 2 days. They guarantee delivery within the next week and wrote the date on the contract! it is now 3 weeks later and no sign of my belongings. They said that the fine print states they have 21 days to deliver. when asked what happens if they cant deliver within the 21 days they said "we might give you a discount if its our fault". I asked them who else fault could it be. They aid weather and truck breakdowns are a few. I am disgusted and am contemplating legal action as well as writing the attorney general in both states.
