Worst Movers....EVER!! BEWARE.

I am only 20% unpacked and already I have more than $10,000.00 in damages to my belongings. All of which was caused by the reckleess way they were packed. I wanted to write a complalnt about this company BEFORE my shipment even left the USA but I honestly feared the safety of my shipment. Back then, and I will say that the only thing they DID do right was getting it here to New Zealand in only 10 weeks, I had experienced 2 packing nightmares with this company. The first part of my move was a 430sq. ft. apt. in NYC. They were scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. and showed up at 11 a.m. It took them 13 HOURS to pack this tiny apt. They said it was because there were so many "fragile" and "delicate" art pieces to pack and therefore required more attention to packing detail. Almost 99% of broken/damaged goods were from the NYC-packed portion. The second part of our move required them coming from NYC to Cape Cod (although when we interviewed moving companies they assured us that they "worked with" a moving company ON Cape Cod, who would handle that portion of the move). This time they were due to arrive at 8 a.m. as well, but showed up AT 4P.M.!!!! I would STRONGLY recommend that you mail each piece of furniture to yourself via U.S.P.S. rather than using this company. One last thing, my estimate was for $16K and I ended up paying $20K!!
