I wish this

I was promised 3 moving men and a truck showing up in the early morning. I was constantly told everything was going to be okay, and I would be treated like it was my birthday. I should have trusted my gut instincts and cancelled the move. They showed up 5 (FIVE) hours late, saying the truck broke down. No apologies. Plus there were only 2 men and they still wanted to charge me for 3 men. Then come the extra hidden charges. $25 to box each TV. (Was never told of this extra charge. I did not think to ask because in previous moves, all the other companies, just wrapped up the 2 TVs and moved them). After arguing on the phone, they finally said they would pack one TV for free. Many pieces of furniture were damaged in the move. I saw one guy in the truck trying to "repair" the coffee table. The CD tower was broken in pieces, and could not be repaired. When it came time to pay the bill, they "forgot" to deduct the $100 that I already paid as a deposit. Needless to say, I was livid with all the aspects of this move. Run as fast as you can from these "people". Simply horrible. I do not know how they sleep at night.
Stay Away - Liars and Misleading

They are very nice and promise you the world. They do not come through with any of their promises. First when I receive the quote they told me that they have no hiden fees like most movers that you pay by the cubic feet and that is it. Well when they picked up and had already loaded the truck the the cost had increased by $1,000 in hiden fees. The only reason I had hired them is that they promosed me in writingthat they would deliver my furniture on a specific day, well guess what the truck brought down and I did not receive my furniture for another 3 days. The worst part of this was the damage they had done to my furniture, I had a new dining room set and the destroyed (chips of wood missing) the table and the leaf. According to one of their workers they did not pack the both the table and the leaf properly even though they charged me an additional $600 in packing materials, I wonder where that went. They took my husbands desk apart when packing and then when it reached my new home not only was it broken but they could not even put it together which is part of what you are paying for and my husband ended up spending hours putting it back together. they also damaged a bike, many boxes were torn and the wardrobe boxes where all destroyed, all the hangers where at the bottom of the box. I cannot say enough stay away from this company if you want all your items to arrive on time and in the same condition as you gave them. The salesman Tony and the owner Edna did not even care about the damage. Tony mislead me through the entire process, tells you what you want to hear, and will say anything to get your business even though he knows that it will not happen. He will promise you the world knowing it will never happen. Edna the owner is very slow at returning your call if she ever does. They could careless
Apollo Van is the worst of the worst moving company.

Apollo Van is the worst of the worst moving company. What a NIGHTMARE. They are gang of cheaters and liars. We had to call the police that force them out of my property. They called to change the contract 12 hours before the move and force us to sign new contract with higher hourly rate during the move. On the phone Tony, Adam and Edna were very nice – do not let them fool you. 12 hours before the move they started their real act. Then on the day of the move - The crew arrived late then the foreman spent the first hour forcing us to sign the new contract. When the truck was loaded the foreman told us that we will have to pay extras and the price will double or triple the estimate. Finally we got Edna (the owner) on the phone and she said that she will not honor the contract and also the storage fee will be tripled. At that point I called the police that helped me a lot. They ask the foreman to carefully unload the truck and leave the property. They say that they got more calls like this. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and don't even consider Apollo Van. In post factum we find them starring on RIP-OFF site.
