I just want to send a quick "THANK YOU" to your company and staff. I called on very short notice needing assistance and you were able to help me. Yeuda and his crew were great! They worked from the moment they arrived untill every last thing was out of my home. They went above and beyond. I know I will call them again next time. I am happy that i called your company and i have no problem on giving you an A+ on service and professionalism. Chris

DO NOT USE MEGA MOVERS! These guys will give you an estimate based upon your inventory. sure I've these couches around this many boxes, etc. But they charge you based upon cubic feet used in the truck. so for the quote we were given $1.50 per cubic foot up to 980 (this is only realized much much later). we used 1200 square feet and for every cubic foot after 980 it was $5.00 plus $350 in "packing supplies" (they used four boxes from home depot, we counted... and some tape) This mysterious 1200 cubic feet was estimated by counting bolts on the side of the truck. This increased our cost by $1250 (2x the quoted price). not to mention the "stair fee" that both the loader and unloader attempted to gain although it had been "waived" by the salesperson. On top of all of this their credit card machine "broke down" and the driver wanted cash. Sure buddy. After discussing the additional charges and the broken credit card machine with the manager I was told that they would put our stuff in storage and we "might" get it in ten days for $200 less. This is after the driver wanted to make the drive from Blacksburg, VA to RI in one day. To accomodate them I agreed and drove till three in the morning to NY then woke up early to meet them in RI. After not showing up we called the driver who said they would not be there until the next day. WRONG ANSWER! We eventually convinced them to show up by 9:00 PM. They unloaded the unlit truck by throwing boxes arbitrarily and asking us to help them unload!? To sum it all up they damaged my new apartment with my couch, broke multiple items, lost part of my son's crib, overcharged me by 100%, asked me to assist in the move, lied to me, and generally ruined my faith in humanity. DO NOT USE MEGA MOVERS! Worst company ever!
